We can provide a custom landscape design built around your character, preferences, and beauty — with attention to detail, designed to thrive in Florida’s climate without the need for constant, costly attention.
Whether it’s a small area or a large one, we are confident we can design something special: a tropical island look right in your own yard, a butterfly or rose garden sitting area, a year-round cooking area with a natural stone fire pit, pathways with beautiful landscaping, cap stone steps, Coquina walls, Calida planter boxes, a fish pond, waterfall, or rock garden.
Our Process
How We Work
1. Consultation
We start by meeting with you for new landscaping or refreshing an existing landscape — either at your project site or at our nursery. We’ll listen to what you want and recommend what will work best.
2. Proposal & Locates
We put it in writing with a proposal sent for your approval. A signature is required before any work is scheduled. Sunshine State One Call locates all underground utilities before we begin — no misunderstandings, no extra fees.
3. Installation
Our team has all the equipment, tools, trucks, trailers, and backhoes needed to complete your project on schedule. What we don’t grow in our nursery, we source from long-time nurserymen around the state.
Our Guarantee
One Year, 100% Guaranteed
Reel Changes guarantees all trees, shrubs, and plants installed by our company for 100% of the purchased price for one year. This guarantee is conditional on proper horticultural practices during the guarantee period:
Watering
All plant material and trees shall be watered weekly in the absence of rain (1.5″ of rain per week). Special instructions are given for the first few weeks of new landscaping.
Cultivation
All beds are kept weed-free with monthly herbicide treatment. Mulch is maintained at a 3-inch minimum depth.
Fertilization
Trees, shrubs, and plants are fertilized with 8-10-10 at recommended rates every 3–4 months. Palms are fertilized with 13-3-13 every 3 months.
In the event of acts of nature — flood, drought, insects, hurricanes, severe freezes, vandalism, or physical damage caused by humans or animals — this guarantee is void.
